Emrah - Arabesk (Nostalji)

Emrah Ipek, simply known as Emrah, (January 1, 1971) is a Turkish singer and actor. He sings mostly in pop and arabesque genres.

Born in Ergani, Diyarbakir Province, he professionally entered the music world with his album Agam Agam already during his middle school time in 1984. With his performonce in the leading role of the movie Zavallilar (1984), he became known as "Küçük Emrah" (Little Emrah). The next year, he released his second album Gülom and Yarali, which gained success. Emrah's following released albums Boynu Bükükler (1986) and Ayrilamam (1987) became best sellers. The latter sold 2.5 million copies, a figure not reached until that time.

Emrah made a record with his 1994 show: it was the first time that more than fifty-thousand Turk people gathered in a stadium for a concert.
